Hello!
I am Manabi Kuma, and I am so happy to help you start your exciting AI journey today kuma!
Learning new things can feel a little bit like exploring a big, mysterious forest for the first time, but do not worry. I will be your gentle guide to help you become an AI superstar in just three months. To start, we must look at the five phases of growth.
In the first week, we focus on building your foundation. It is very important to make AI a daily habit, just like brushing your teeth or putting on your shoes kuma!
Instead of using a search engine like Google for everything, try asking your AI friends like Claude or ChatGPT for help. A great trick is to keep an AI tab pinned in your web browser so you never forget it is there to help you. Ali Abdaal (アリ・アブダール) suggests that these small habits make the biggest difference over time.
One of my favorite secrets is using your voice instead of your keyboard kuma!
When you speak to the AI using tools like Whisper Flow or the built-in dictation on your phone, you can share your messy thoughts much faster than you can type. It feels like talking to a kind friend who is always ready to listen and organize your ideas!

Also, remember to download the mobile apps so you can use AI as a thinking buddy while you are walking outside or relaxing at home. Recording your meetings is another non-negotiable step for success. Tools like Grain or Fathom can listen to your Zoom calls and write down everything for you automatically. This allows you to focus 100% on the people in the meeting instead of scribbling notes!
It makes your life much easier and ensures you never forget a clever idea from a teammate.
During the second week, you can start using AI as your personal coach. This means the AI helps you think better about your work rather than just doing it for you kuma!
How do you do this?
You can ask it to interview you about your job or give you feedback on your teaching style. For example, Ali Abdaal uses Claude to ask questions about annual planning for his business. It is like having a very smart buddy who has read every book in the world and wants to help you succeed!
By the third and fourth weeks, you will learn to use AI as your worker. We use a special system called the 10/80/10 rule to get the best results kuma!

In this rule, you do the first 10% to set the goal and give context. Then, you let the AI do the middle 80% of the heavy lifting. Finally, you do the last 10% for a quality check and a 'vibe' check. This ensures the work still has your special human 'taste' and does not look like boring machine-made content. For example, a social media manager named Nicole (ニコル) uses this to generate Instagram hooks by providing video transcripts and competitor examples as context.
As you move into the second month, you will start building a system. Think of your prompts like a secret family cake recipe that you improve every time you bake it kuma!
If the 'cake' is too dry, you add a little more 'sugar' to your prompt instructions. By saving these refined recipes in a prompt library using tools like Text Expander, you never have to start from scratch again. This phase is all about prompt engineering and testing different models to see which one gives the best results for your specific needs.
Finally, after three months, you can turn AI into your infrastructure. This is where you use automation tools like Zapier, Make.com, or N8N to let the AI work in the background kuma!
Imagine if your coaching calls were automatically summarized and sent to your students without you lifting a single finger. This rabbit hole goes very deep, from simple built-in automations to building your own internal tools. You are doing an amazing job learning these new skills, and I am so proud of your progress kuma!
Just remember that your unique human taste is your greatest strength in this digital world.
